“Ruban” the name of this store stands for ribbon in French.
It was named with a hope of becoming a place where visitors can make a connection with and take interest in Japanese cultures and people like a ribbon ties up things. There are four sections that tableware’s corner, a café, a salon and a gallery. Each ones show you their own unique aspects of the cultures and the traditions.
At the tableware’s corner, most of the products are made by Japanese craftsmen. They are collected as my recommendations and preferences.
At the café, having drinks or alcohols of good quality, customers can enjoy its tranquil atmosphere of the traditionally styled house in Kyoto.
